Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

On behalf of our chapter here at Montana State, welcome to Alpha Omicron Pi’s Alpha Phi Chapter! We are so happy you are here and we cannot wait to show you what our sisterhood is all about. Alpha Phi is home to 68 members who are full of ambition, love, dedication, and passion. Our motto is “Inspire Ambition”, which is a perfect representation of our sisters. From having sisters apart of ASMSU (Student Government), Honor’s College, and Voice Center, our sisters truly inspire one another in every endeavor.

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded at Montana State University in 1917, making us the first sorority on campus. Over the past 100 years we have grown in character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty. We are a diverse group of women who come together to support our college, community, and one another.

In October we held our 25th annual Run for the Roses 5k, we were able to raise over $5,000 to support the research efforts of the Arthritis Foundation.

AOII has done more for me than I could have ever imagined. This chapter has brought me my closest confidants, my fellow classmates, my adventure buddies, my future bridesmaids, and my forever sisters. These women have pushed me to step out of my comfort zone in numerous ways and encouraged me to be apart of things I normally wouldn’t do. Joining AOII has truly been one of the best decisions i have ever made and I will be forever grateful for what it has given me. I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about our sisterhood. If you are considering going through recruitment, I encourage you to give it a try! I know it has changed my life for the better. Thank you for taking time to visit us! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
