Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

On behalf of our chapter here at Montana State, welcome to Alpha Omicron Pi’s Alpha Phi Chapter! We are so happy that you are here and we cannot wait to show you what our sisterhood is all about. Alpha Phi is home to over 130 members who are full of ambition, love, dedication, and passion. Our motto is “Inspire Ambition”, which is a perfect representation of our sisters. From having sisters as part of ASMSU, Honors College, Nursing School, Student Teachers, and more, our sisters truly inspire one another in every endeavor.Alpha Omicron Pi Alpha Pi Chapter was founded at Montana State University in 1917, making us the first sorority on campus. Over the past 100 years we have grown in chapter, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty. We are a diverse group of women who come together to support our college, community, and of course, one another.Every year we hold fundraisers for our philanthropy, Juvenile Arthritis, once in the fall, and then again in the spring. At each fundraiser we raise thousands of dollars that go towards helping children who have arthritis. These events connect us with the college community, but also with the greater Bozeman community as well.AOII has done more for me than I could have ever imagined. This chapter has brought me my closest confidants, my fellow classmates, my adventure buddies, my future bridesmaids, and my forever sisters. These women have pushed me to step out of my comfort zone in numerous ways and encouraged me to be a part of things I normally wouldn’t do. Joining AOII has truly been one of the best decisions I have ever made and I will be forever grateful for what it has given me. I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about our sisterhood. If you are considering going through recruitment, I encourage you to give it a try! I know it has changed my life for the better. Thank you for taking time to visit us! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
